4.7 per cent of the food served goes uneaten, according to a study in the hospital canteens of Palmanova, San Daniele and Udine

To quantify the amount of uneaten food in the canteens of the hospitals in Palmanova, San Daniele del Friuli and Udine, and to compare the data before and after a campaign on nutrition and sustainability. This was the aim of a study conducted by the Department of Medicine at the University of Udine in collaboration with the Friuli Centrale University Health Authority.
