Around 9,000 students in their final two years of secondary school took part in the University of Udine’s Student Day, the university’s largest careers guidance event. This is the final tally for the showcase of the Friulian university’s academic programmes, services and research, which took place over four days (6, 7, 13 and 14 March).
Visitors came mainly from Friuli Venezia Giulia and Veneto, but also from Austria, Croatia and Slovenia, as well as from around ten other Italian regions, including Sicily. Prospective university students were thus able to gain a comprehensive, first-hand understanding of the academic world, helping them to choose their degree course in an informed and considered manner, with an eye to their future career prospects.
