A digital platform that harnesses the power of artificial intelligence to connect businesses, researchers, laboratories and universities in order to boost the competitiveness of the North-East. “labvillage.it” is the new online platform created to bridge the gap between the needs of the manufacturing sector and scientific research. The project, coordinated by the University of Udine, was developed with an investment of around €160,000 by the iNEST consortium, the innovation ecosystem for the Triveneto region.
The platform virtually brings together the nine iNEST Lab Villages affiliated with the universities of Udine, Bolzano, Ca’ Foscari and IUAV in Venice, Padua, SISSA, Trento, Trieste and Verona, as well as the National Research Council (CNR) and the National Institute of Oceanography and Experimental Geophysics (OGS).
