Fundamental Physics: The University among the protagonists of the “Breakthrough Prize”, an international scientific award

The University of Udine is also among the key players in the 2025 Breakthrough Prize, one of the most prestigious international awards in the field of fundamental physics. The recognition was awarded to experiments conducted with the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN in Geneva, including ATLAS, in which a team of scientists from the University, together with the local branch of the National Institute for Nuclear Physics, is involved.
