Two high-impact research projects will be carried out at the National Institute of Oceanography and Applied Geophysics (OGS) thanks to funding from the Italian Science Fund (FIS). The grants, awarded under the Starting Grant scheme, will support the research activities of oceanographer Annunziata Pirro—who in 2025 received a permanent appointment at OGS—and geoinformatics researcher Sansar Raj Meena, who is joining OGS from the University of Padua.
