Green Energy: Elettra lays the foundation stone for its new photovoltaic park

Bringing together renewable energy, scientific research and environmental restoration: this is the goal of Green Energy, the project by Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste that has officially entered the implementation phase at Cava Scoria, between Trieste and San Dorligo della Valle – Dolina. With a total investment of €26.5 million, the initiative will contribute to the Centre’s energy sustainability and the regeneration of the area, while opening up new opportunities for research and public access to the site.
