“Reflective walks – From the Karst to the Sea 2.0” is a walking programme that combines outdoor activity with guided reflection on psychological wellbeing. Organised as part of the PRO-BENE-COMUNE project, it brings together members of the university community for shared walks along the Karst plateau and the coastline around Trieste, using movement and conversation as tools for collective care.
The programme is continuing through October, with the aim of promoting wellbeing within the university community. Each walk is designed as a participatory experience. After an initial introduction, participants split into pairs and begin walking, guided by questions proposed by the organisers to stimulate discussion. Along the route, group moments allow participants to reflect collectively on the themes that emerge, sometimes through more structured activities.
The programme is now in its second and final cycle, with five walks scheduled between September and October on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Saturday walks take place in the morning, Wednesday sessions in the late afternoon.
No specific skills are required, apart from suitable walking attire. Participation is free, with mandatory registration via an online form.
