How can scientific knowledge and risk prevention strategies be translated into concrete actions to build more resilient communities and territories?
This is the central challenge of the ResiliEnhance Platform Meeting 2026, an international gathering dedicated to strengthening resilience and integrating Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Climate Action.
Coordinated by the UNESCO Chair at the University of Udine, together with the Central European Initiative (CEI) and CISM, the platform brings together experts, researchers, international organisations, and institutions to foster dialogue between the scientific community, policymakers, and practitioners.
🤝 Two interactive working sessions, organised according to the World Café format, will provide an opportunity to identify synergies between disaster risk reduction and climate policies, while exploring the challenges and barriers that hinder the transition from planning to implementation.
The aim is to contribute to the development of shared tools and recommendations for increasingly integrated, interdisciplinary, and effective risk management.
An important opportunity for international exchange, promoting a culture of prevention and contributing to safer, more resilient communities and territories.
