On the 4th of June 2025, the conference “Nuclear Energy for Sustainable Development. Possible Scenarios” will take place at the Area Science Park Conference Hall (Padriciano 99, Trieste). The event is organized by the Science and Innovation System of Friuli Venezia Giulia – SiS FVG, and aims to explore the topic in light of the bill approved by the Italian Council of Ministers at the end of February.
But what technologies are currently available and how can they integrate with existing energy sources? What innovations are emerging? And where does Italy stand compared to other European countries and the global context?
This scientific conference will address the topic from all perspectives: from regulatory and legislative aspects to technological developments at both the Italian and international levels; from the point of view of companies that supply components or apply the technology, to the importance of accurate information and public communication.
