On March 12, 2026, at 5:30 PM, the meeting “The Unsustainable Resilience of Soil” will take place at CISM – Palazzo del Torso in Udine, as part of the “Espresso di resilienza” series, promoted by the UNESCO Chair in Intersectoral Safety for Disaster Risk Reduction and Resilience.
The event will address the issue of the growing degradation and consumption of soils worldwide, highlighting the crucial role this natural resource—fundamental for food production, biodiversity, and the regulation of environmental cycles—plays in sustaining life on the planet and human activities.
Roberto Pinton, Professor of Agricultural Chemistry at the University of Udine, will speak at the event.
