Antimicrobial Resistance: in November Area Science Park to host an international workshop on scientific research and technological innovation to address global challenges posed by resistant pathogen

On Monday, 10 November 2025, Area Science Park, at the Congress Centre of the Padriciano Campus (Trieste), will host the workshop “Tackling Antimicrobial Resistance: Prevention, Monitoring and Counteraction”, organised within the framework of the PRP@CERIC project. The event will bring together international experts to discuss current strategies and challenges in the fight against antimicrobial resistance (AMR).

The workshop will serve as a platform for interdisciplinary dialogue and exchange, offering:

  • a comprehensive overview of the AMR emergency;
  • a dedicated session on the most recent advances in biomedical research;
  • an in-depth focus on prevention, advanced monitoring and counteraction strategies

The event will be held in person and in English.

Participation is free of charge upon registration.
